Create your own social images with these 4 programs

Social Media is a great marketing tool for businesses, it’s a great free marketing avenue to keep in touch with your target audience.  Time and effort goes into creating posts, and there is nothing more disheartening than to see others stealing content, without giving recognition to the source. You don’t have to steal others work, you can create your own social images with these 4 programs.

This has been a hot topic is a few communities I’m involved with. I have even seen some of my own work for clients taken and the images cropped removing my client’s logo and then displayed on the other businesses. Totally uncool.

I am giving you a guide on how you can create your branded social media messages.

Firstly, you need to determine what your brand voice is (corporate, relaxed, fun, mixture of all), and what colours and styles you want to represent business.

Now to create your content. Guess what! You can do these for free using the following apps or programs.

Canva is free to use (there is a paid professional component which allows you to install your own business branded fonts).

Canva have provided both free and paid templates to make creating your posts easy. You can import pictures or logos and create your own masterpieces.

Canva can be used online via your computer or you can use their apps for both ipads and mobiles.

PicMonkey is allows you to create original pieces of works, but also allows you to edit and adjust photos. Which is fantastic, need a lip stick touch up, or perhaps in some fake tan!! I recently used this to edit some photos for a client, and it was awesome. (I love using PicMonkey or Photoshop for these functions)

There is a free component but for full functionality for a low yearly price you have access to loads more awesome functions.

This is more recently created program, features similarities to Canva and PicMonkey. It’s an Adobe product. a newer one app that has been created by Adobe.

They say “Turn your ideas into impactful social graphics, web stories and animated videos—in minutes.

Spark has the added feature enable you to create videos too.

Pablo is a free and has plenty of free images you can use to create your background image. You simply click your image, add your quote or words, choose the image shape you need, add your log. HOWEVER, it only has 3 font size options and a smaller font type selection. This app has been created through Buffer.
